Donate to the O P Nayyar Memorial Trust 

Nostalgiaana has been regularly donating to Swar Alaap, an organization known to work for the cause of musicians in the Hindi Film Industry. Details of our donation can be accessed here.

After our memorable weekend show on O P Nayyar with Siraj Khan on 22nd Jan 2023, where Siraj made an appeal to the attendees to donate to the OP Nayyar Memorial Trust, we have received several requests from patrons asking for details of the same. 

We, therefore, thought it fit to launch a donation page, where interested people can contribute and we will add in our own amount from Nostalgiaana and make the cumulative contribution. 

Full details of the contributions received and made will be published on the website for the sake of transparency. 

About O P Nayyar Memorial Trust 
O P Nayyar Memorial Trust has been registered in Mumbai to continue the work which OP Nayyar had started in his lifetime - to provide an umbrella and a platform for assisting aged and struggling musicians and singers, both financially and with other form of hand-holding.

​The Trust organizes events on various formats where OP Nayyar's compositions are performed on stage by young and upcoming singers and musicians, primarily from Maharashtra and New Delhi. These endeavors not only help keep his name alive and the torch burning, but the proceeds help in raising funds which the Trust disseminates to deserving singers and musicians. The Trust has even made efforts to identify unknown and unheard chorus singers of Nayyar's times, who are still alive and are walking on a tight rope.
